Why Have I Been So Busy?

It all started Memorial Day Weekend with a trip to The Lake of the Ozarks. If you have never been you must go! It's not like any other lake in the world. There is something to do for everyone. At the insistance of some family members my husband, son, and I made the trip up for a long Memorial Day Weekend. The weather was absolutely terrible cold and rainy but guess what we had a BLAST! We visited delicious restaurants, enjoyed games and go carts and an indoor entertainment complex, played a round of mini golf, did some shopping, and even managed to play out on the lake. My husband and I knew we wanted a piece of this fun. So we decided to invest in a piece of property.

We looked on and off during our stay, but none really had what we were looking for. Then my husband found a beautiful 3 bed 3 bath brand new condo for sale. It was in a quiet protected cove, but also offered a main channel view and we knew it was perfect.

We closed on the Condo in July and quickly got to work. Over the next 3 months we cleaned, put furniture together, and decorated. All the while learning about hosting a property on airbnb and vrbo. It has been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun! We have already made so many memories here and can't wait to make more. I am also excited to share our place with others so they can make their own memories.
