This month's reading list featured 2 fiction and 2 nonfiction books. While the fiction books were entertaining and I enjoyed them, the nonfiction books truly stood out this month. As part of my commitment to a nontoxic lifestyle, I aim to keep my mind active. Reading nonfiction books is an excellent way to learn new things.
Into the Fall By: Tamara L. Miller
This book is described as a suspenseful, psychological thriller, and I believe that sums the book up nicely. I rated this book 4 stars only because parts of it were a little predictable and others a little slow. Overall, the book was an exciting read as the reader tries to figure out what happened to Sarah's husband after he seems to have disappeared on their family camping trip. Slowly, you learn some secrets that make you start to question both Sarah and her husband.

Unless We Pray: The Hour is Late. God Has a Plan and This is It! By: Todd Smith
I have been reading this book off and on for about a year now. I took my time with this read because I really wanted to learn and digest as much as I could. I spent time looking at the different verses and meditating on them, seeing what God would show me. I enjoyed my journey through this book as it opened my eyes to the different aspects of prayer. This book was a 5-star read for me because of how much I learned.

A Court of Frost and Starlight By: Sarah J Maas
This is book 3.5 and the shortest installment in the ACOTAR series. It carries a slight Christmas theme, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it in early spring. While I did like this book, it fell short compared to the other books in the series. I rated it 3 stars and was eager to proceed to the next book in the series.

The High 5 Habit: Take Control of Your Life with One Simple Habit By: Mel Robbins
I enjoyed listening to this book on Audible, and once again, Mel did an outstanding job with the narration. Although I initially found the book's theme to be cheesy, I chose to trust Mel and give it a chance. The book focuses on the concept of encouraging yourself, beginning with the simple act of high-fiving yourself in the mirror.
